Educator and Physician Leader

Paul has 40 years of medical practice and medical education experience. He received his Medical Doctorate from Texas A&M University. After an Internal Medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic Paul practiced Internal Medicine at the Scott and White Clinic in Temple, Texas. He also served as a medical educator for Texas A&M College of Medicine rising to the rank of tenured professor. In 2010, he served as Academic Affairs Dean, Interim Dean of Medicine, and Interim President of the Texas A&M Health Science Center. He also served as the Provost for the Texas Tech University Health Science Center.
